Former Pakistan international all rounder Wasim Raja will lead the ICC team of match officials in the forthcoming One Day International and Test series in the Caribbean.

Wasim will be the ICC Match Referee for the five ODI's and two Tests being played in the Caribbean from 5th June through to the end of the second Test, scheduled for the 2nd July. This will be his first major appointment since joining the ICC's full time panel in March.

Wasim Raja holds fond memories of the West Indies where he toured as a member of the Pakistan team in 1976/77, a series in which he scored more than 500 runs at an average of 57.

Elite Panel umpires Rudi Koertzen and Asoka de Silva will alternate with umpires appointed by the West Indies Cricket Board in each of the ODIs, with Srinivas Venkataraghavan replacing de Silva to partner Koertzen in both of the Test matches.
