Cricket West Indies on Tuesday, November 3, confirmed the appointment of Andre Coley as the head coach of the women's team.

The appointment is on an interim basis for the upcoming series against Pakistan, which will see Coley work alongside the rest of the existing support staff.

Having had previous stints with the West Indies, including as head coach at the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2010, where they finished third, Coley brings a wealth of experience.

Coley replaces Shane Deitz, who had been in the head coach role for the past three years.
