World reacts as Ireland and UAE qualify for the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2022
With their win by 56 runs in the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier A, Ireland return to the tournament after their First Round exit in 2021.

After winning the toss at the No.2 Ground of the Oman Cricket Academy, home skipper Zeeshan Maqsood asked Ireland to put a target on the board. Ireland in their 20 overs managed to post 165/7, before a clinical defence with the ball.

Ireland will meet UAE in the final of the tournament on February 24, after Ahmed Raza's side brushed off a Nepal challenge.
Setting Nepal 176 to win, the skipper's stellar 5/19 helped UAE restrict Nepal to 107.
