Zimbabwe triumphed over Australia by 23 runs with a superb bowling show at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.

Captain Sikandar Raza continues to lead the side. Young fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri and batter Milton Shumba are the only additions to the squad. Nyamhuri is yet to make his T20I debut, while Shumba returns to the format for the first time since the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Ben Curran, who joined Zimbabwe's World Cup squad earlier this year as an injury replacement, keeps his place and could also make his T20I debut during the series.

Zimbabwe will be without Graeme Cremer, who misses out due to a left-arm fracture, while Brendan Taylor and Tony Munyonga are also absent from the squad that featured at the World Cup.
