India's title-winning run at the recent ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 has seen a host of their white-ball stars make big moves on the latest ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings.

Suryakumar Yadav's side cruised to a 96-run triumph over New Zealand in the final in Ahmedabad on Sunday to make it back-to-back titles and become the first side ever to win three Men's T20 World Cup trophies since the inception of the tournament.

It was no surprise to see India's batters rewarded on the rankings that were updated by the ICC on Wednesday, with the side now holding the top two ranked players on the list for T20I batters.

Abhishek Sharma has held on to his lead at the top following his quickfire half-century against the Black Caps in the T20 World Cup final, while fellow left-hander Ishan Kishan is now his closest rival after he moved up two places to second overall after his 317 runs at the tournament.
