38 – Number of balls Windies Women's Deandra Dottin took to smash her record century – the fastest in the women's game – in the 2010 edition of the ICC Women's World T20.
Dottin, 18 at the time, took 38 balls to reach her 100, with nine sixes and five fours in the tournament opener against South Africa Women. Off the next two balls, she hit two more boundaries and remained unbeaten on 112.
Her batting brilliance powered her side to a competitive total of 175/5 in Basseterre.
Asked what her next ambition was after her trail-blazing innings, she replied: "I want to go for the record again."
