Leading from the front through a golden age of English cricket, Charlotte Edwards not only evolved through a transformative period, but did so as one of the game’s best across all three formats.

Player Bio

Making her international debut as a 16-year-old, the youngest to player to do so at the time, Edwards was never overawed, breaking several batting records, including a then-record score 173* in a women’s ODI against Ireland at the 1997 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

In 2009 Edwards won both the Women’s Cricket World Cup and the Women’s T20 World Cup as captain, and sits second on both the Women’s ODI and Test run lists. Edwards was also the first woman to pass 2000 T20I runs, also collecting 75 international wickets with her part-time leg-spin.
