Media Advisory: Media Accreditation opens for World Cricket League tie between Nepal and Kenya

The media accreditation process for the ICC World Cricket League Championship matches between Nepal and Kenya, to be played in Kathmandu on 11 and 13 March, is now open and will close onThursday, 2 March 2017 at 1700 Nepal time.
The accreditation cards can be collected from eSewa Fonepay (eSewa), Hattisar, Kathmandu Nepal on 5 and 6 March 2017.
As part of the application process, applicants will need to send below to accreditation@icc-cricket.com with Subject line Nepal Media Accreditation.
i) A colour passport-size photograph with a plain background (.jpg file smaller than 500 KB in size);
ii) A scanned copy of the photo page of your valid passport/National ID card (.jpg file smaller than 500 KB in size); and
iii) An assignment Letter signed by your editor/employer (.jpg file not more than 500 KB) - applications not supported by the assignment letters will not be processed.
Accreditation will only be given to journalists who have assignments from their organisations.

- By applying for accreditation, you acknowledge that you, applicant, agrees with and accepts the attached ICC World Cricket League Championship – Nepal v Kenya Round 5 Media Accreditation Terms and Conditions for Non-Rights Holders.
- The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.
iii. Late applications will not be entertained.
- For members of the travelling media requiring visas to Nepal, a letter in support of a visa application will be provided. Journalists requiring visa letters are advised to contact ICC Development Events Manager Gurjit Singh at gurjit.singh@icc-cricket.com along with scanned copies of their passport’s front page and details of where the application will be submitted. About the ICC World Cricket League
The top sides from this tournament, played on a double round-robin basis that gives 14 matches to each team, will join the bottom four sides from the MRF Tyres ICC ODI Team Rankings as on 30 September 2017 for the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which will be staged in 2018.
The Netherlands leads the points table with 16 points from 10 matches while Papua New Guinea is in second position with 12 points from eight outings. Kenya and Nepal are in fifth and sixth positions with eight and six points, respectively.
