India off-spinner Washington Sundar, who claimed 1/25 to help his side restrict Bangladesh to a modest 153/6 in the second T20I in Rajkot, is confident that the hosts can now go on to win the series in Nagpur.
Sundar's economical spell helped India restrict Bangladesh to a modest total, before a blistering 43-ball 85 from captain Rohit Sharma helped India secure an eight-wicket win on Thursday, 7 November. The hosts, thus, drew level in the three-match series, having gone down by seven wickets in the first T20I in Delhi.
The all-rounder is confident that India can now go on to win the final T20I in Nagpur. "We’ve lost one game and it was a close one. Couple of things here and there and that game could have gone our way as well. We won convincingly today and we can expect a similar track and boundaries in Nagpur so definitely we will look to win the next game," he said.

On Thursday, after being sent in, Bangladesh got off to a reasonably good start. They were 54/0 after six overs, but lost their way with spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Sundar taking full control.
"The spinners’ role was important," Sundar said. "It was important to take the pace off the ball and in the middle overs we did a very good job and pulled things back. After the first six-seven overs, it looked like they would get close to 170-180."
While Sundar was exceptional, it was Chahal who bowled the most decisive over of the innings, dismissing Mushfiqur Rahim and a well-set Soumya Sarkar in the 13th over. Sundar was all praise for the leg-spinner and attributed his success to experience and intelligence.

"Yuzvendra Chahal is someone who can change the [dynamics] of the game. We've seen him do that a lot in one-dayers and T20s as well. He comes in the middle overs, takes two-three wickets and changes the game.
"The way he changes his pace ... he knows what the batsman is going to try and do. He knows which batsman is going to hit where. He's very very clever."
The series-deciding third T20I will be in Nagpur on Sunday, 10 November.
