Brown inspires Bahamas to victory

The Bahamas U/15 maintained its unbeaten record in the final game of the ICC Americas U/15 Central Championships when it defeated Belize U/15 by nine wickets.

Belize batted first but it was hampered by losing regular wickets as only Lamont Russell made a real impact with the bat when he scored 35.

In reply, the Bahamas required just 16.1 overs to reach its target with Turan Brown (52 not out) and Ashmeid Allie (21 not out) the key batters for the hosts.

The win ensured that the Bahamas U/15 ended the event with four consecutive wins, while Brown was named as Player of the Tournament.
