England confirm squads for home series against Sri Lanka

Harry Brook will lead the hosts in three ODIs and as many T20Is, commencing from September 15.

England have named 16-member squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka at home. 

Jamie Overton is set to feature in both squads, after missing out on playing against India due to injury.

While opener Aneurin Donald has earned a maiden call-up for the T20I series, uncapped seamer Henry Crocombe has been selected in the ODI squad.

Sam Curran and Phil Salt remain unavailable for the series due to injuries.

Jacob Bethell remains on course in his rehabilitation after successful surgery on his injured knee earlier this week.

England had a successful white-ball home series against India, defeating the visitors 4-0 in T20Is and 2-1 in ODIs. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, won the ODI series while losing out in the T20Is against the West Indies.
