Experienced spinner in Zimbabwe squad for Namibia tri-series

Zimbabwe have announced the squad for the upcoming T20I tri-series against hosts Namibia and South Africa, to be played from August 28 to September 6 in Windhoek.

Veteran star all-rounder Sikandar Raza will lead the side for the tournament.

Spinner Graeme Cremer returns to the national setup after recovering from a left-arm injury that kept him out of the home series against Bangladesh and India. Pacer Kundai Matigimu, who has featured in one Test for Zimbabwe, has also been included in the 15-player squad.

Fast bowlers Richard Ngarava and Tanaka Chivanga were unavailable for the Chevrons due to injury. Ngarava is continuing his recovery from a lower-back issue, while Chivanga has undergone surgery after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury during practice.

Both players will continue to be monitored by the ZC medical team as they undergo rehabilitation.

Zimbabwe will begin their campaign against South Africa on 29 August before facing Namibia two days later. The three nations will play each other twice, with the top two sides advancing to the final on 6 September.
