India skipper Shreyas Iyer is the big winner following the latest update to the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings.

Iyer hit his maiden T20I century in the opening match of India's five-game series against the West Indies in Lucknow and the dashing right-hander gained a whopping 18 spots on the updated rankings for T20I batters as a result.

It sees Iyer move into the top 10 for T20I batters for the first time in his international career, with the 31-year-old now sitting in seventh place overall.

There are now four Indian players inside the top 10, with Kishan (first), Abhishek Sharma (second), Iyer (seventh) and Tilak Varma (10th) all high up the batting charts in the shortest format from the reigning ICC Men's T20 World Cup champions.
