Cricket PNG's Milne Bay BSP School Kriket Program officially commenced its 2012 BSP School Kriket Program at Samaria Primary School on Tuesday 14th February under the supervision of Regional Cricket Manager, Simon Deiwillie.

The Milne Bay 2012 BSP School Kriket Program officially commenced on Samarai Island, the former provincial headquarters of Milne Bay that is located 2 hours by boat from Alotau.

Regional Cricket Manager, Simon Deiwillie was looking forward to this term and commented,

"This term marks the exciting expansion our regional development, through the BSP School Kriket program, to the islands of Milne Bay surrounding Samarai."

"Without the keen enthusiasm and support of the school staff and community of the area around Samarai this exercise would be much more difficult, their support is greatly appreciated."

The Milne Bay Development Team will be expanding their reach in term 1 to nine new schools as well as visiting some schools who have previously held sessions. This term will involve programs at Sawasawaga P.S., Samarai P.S., Gogolabia P.S., Gibara P.S., Sariba/Sidudu P.S., Yokowai P.S., Wagawaga P.S., Logeia P.S., Bedauna P.S., Gwavili P.S., Kuiaro Vocational, Sidea Vocational and Primary schools, Kwakela P.S.
