KJP just scored what could be the greatest innings ever in an overseas run chase by a Sri Lankan batsman. Brings back memories of the brilliant hundred by @MahelaJay against @OfficialCSA in 2006 at The P Sara

Kusal Perera. You beauty. You did it single handedly with a fighter in a number 11. Sri Lanka. You've watched one of the greatest innings ever played #Cricket pic.twitter.com/q3RN92wZc4

Incidentally, the Kusal Perera-Viswa Fernando 10th wkt stand is also the highest in all first-class cricket in a 4th inns winning effort. The previous was the 83-yr-old record by Tom Leathers & Ron Oxenham - 77* runs for Jack Ryder's Australians vs Madras @ Chepauk on 4 Feb 1936 https://t.co/wSB5YjMXpT

While his son enjoyed a special trophy seat, Harry Gurney had something important to say..
My thoughts:

- People have been calling me Mr Bean for years, I think it’s likely he would be a better batter than me.
- Mr Bean did actually rock up for Bankstown... 1st grade though and got 5fer most weeks.
- Mr Bean has got a @BBL winners medal. @juniorwaugh349 😉 https://t.co/rFKGFBHB3u
And Dan Christian reminisced with Cameron White.
1st played against each other as 16yr olds, 18 months later, won an U19’s World Cup together.

Yesterday, a BBL trophy. Couldn’t think of a better team mate to share it with. Doesn’t show much emotion, but when he does, you know it means something. Absolute legend 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 pic.twitter.com/sXIXSkFKoK
