SA likely to prepare spinning wicket for Cape Town Test

South Africa may prepare a spinning wicket for the first Test against Australia, which starts in Cape Town on Wednesday.

According to the Courier Mail, South Africa considers leg-spinner Imran Tahir as a key weapon against the Australians, and Cape Town has a reputation for taking turn later in the match.

Tahir has played five ODIs, in which he has claimed 14 wickets at an average of 11.

The 32-year-old has also claimed 585 wickets in 138 first class matches.
