West Indies squads declared for Abu Dhabi, NZ tournaments
West Indies selectors have picked up squads for upcoming ODI series against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and Test series in New Zealand.
Chris Gayle will be the captain and Ramnaresh Sarwan will be his deputy. Australian-born Brendon Nash who has represented Jamaica in West Indies as well as Queensland in Australia, batsman Leon Johnson and pacers Kemar Roach and Lionel Baker are the newcomers in the lineups.
Coach John Dyson informed that the players were keen to take on the contests against both the countries. He stated that tourney to Abu Dhabi is an opportunity to continue the good form of the team from tri-nation series in Canada in August whereas through the tour of New Zealand there is a possibility to move up the in the ICC standings.
