England will look to strengthen their grip on a semi-final spot as they take on Pakistan in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight clash in Kandy on Tuesday.

On Sunday, Harry Brook's team handed co-hosts Sri Lanka a 51-run defeat to begin the second stage of the World Cup with a bang and earn two crucial points. A win over Pakistan should put them in driver's seat to go through to the final four.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's match against New Zealand was washed out and the teams ended up splitting points. That gives Pakistan a smaller margin for error going forward in the tournament and a defeat here will almost put them out of semi-final contention.
