The final day of warm-ups ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 saw four teams in action.
Italy dominated the UAE in the first match of the day to make it two wins from two warm-up games for the T20 World Cup debutants.
The evening fixture saw Namibia collapse in the chase to lose by 130 runs to India A.

Italy dominate UAE
Italy were put in to bat by the UAE and made a strong start thanks to openers Justin Mosca and Anthony Mosca. The pair put on an aggressive 81-run opening stand, with Anthony leading the charge, smashing 56 off just 22 balls before being run out. Justin Mosca anchored the innings with 48 off 36 deliveries and retired at the end of the 14th over.
Harry Manenti added 29 off 21 but was dismissed with Muhammad Jawadullah knocking over his stumps. Benjamin Manenti (20 off 17) and Grant Stewart (29 off 15) then stitched together a vital 49-run partnership to maintain the momentum as Italy finished with a competitive total of 193.

Junaid Siddique was the standout bowler for the UAE, returning impressive figures of 3/32, while Muhammad Jawadullah and Simranjeet Singh picked up a wicket apiece.
The UAE endured a nightmare start to their chase, losing three wickets in the first three overs to slump to 9/3. JJ Smuts removed skipper Muhammad Waseem, before Grant Stewart struck twice in the third over. Stewart added a third scalp in the fifth over by dismissing Mayank Kumar, and soon after Ali Hasan bowled Harshit Kaushik to leave the UAE reeling at 20/5.
Crishan Kalugamage then ran through the middle order, claiming three quick wickets to put Italy firmly on the brink of victory. Muhammad Zohaib (16 off 22) and Muhammad Farooq (23 off 25) showed brief resistance, but the UAE were eventually bowled out for 81, handing Italy a convincing and important win.

India A beat Namibia
In the last warm-up fixture ahead of the marquee tournament, India A batted first and posted an imposing total of 197.
Namibia made early inroads as Max Heingo removed Priyansh Arya in the second over before Bernard Scholtz dismissed Urvil Patel in the third. India A steadied the innings through a counter-attacking partnership between Naman Dhir (39 off 29) and Riyan Parag (69 off 39), with the duo adding 111 runs to wrest back control. Gerhard Erasmus halted the momentum by removing both batters in the space of three balls.

Ashutosh Sharma provided the late flourish, smashing 35 off 21 deliveries to push India A close to the 200 mark. Max Heingo and Ruben Trumpelmann picked up two wickets apiece, while Erasmus solitary over saw him claim two wickets and concede just two runs. Bernard Scholtz and Willem Myburgh chipped in with one wicket each.
Namibia’s chase unraveled almost immediately. Gurjapneet Singh struck twice in the first three balls, and Mayank Yadav dismissed skipper Gerhard Erasmus in the second over to leave Namibia reeling at 2/3. The collapse continued as Namibia lost five more wickets for just 38 runs, slipping to 40/8.
Dylan Leicher top-scored with 22 off 20 balls, but there was little resistance as Namibia were bowled out for 67. Gurjapneet Singh, Mayank Yadav, Ashok Sharma, and Vipraj Nigam picked up two wickets each, while Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi claimed one apiece, as India A cruised to a commanding 130-run victory.
