The final day of warm-ups ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will see four teams in action.

Italy dominated the UAE in the first match of the day to make it two wins from two warm-up games for the T20 World Cup debutants.

The evening fixture will feature Namibia taking on India A in Bengaluru.

Italy were put in to bat by the UAE and made a strong start thanks to openers Justin Mosca and Anthony Mosca. The pair put on an aggressive 81-run opening stand, with Anthony leading the charge, smashing 56 off just 22 balls before being run out. Justin Mosca anchored the innings with 48 off 36 deliveries and retired at the end of the 14th over.

Harry Manenti added 29 off 21 but was dismissed with Muhammad Jawadullah knocking over his stumps. Benjamin Manenti (20 off 17) and Grant Stewart (29 off 15) then stitched together a vital 49-run partnership to maintain the momentum as Italy finished with a competitive total of 193.

Junaid Siddique was the standout bowler for the UAE, returning impressive figures of 3/32, while Muhammad Jawadullah and Simranjeet Singh picked up a wicket apiece.

The UAE endured a nightmare start to their chase, losing three wickets in the first three overs to slump to 9/3. JJ Smuts removed skipper Muhammad Waseem, before Grant Stewart struck twice in the third over. Stewart added a third scalp in the fifth over by dismissing Mayank Kumar, and soon after Ali Hasan bowled Harshit Kaushik to leave the UAE reeling at 20/5.

Crishan Kalugamage then ran through the middle order, claiming three quick wickets to put Italy firmly on the brink of victory. Muhammad Zohaib (16 off 22) and Muhammad Farooq (23 off 25) showed brief resistance, but the UAE were eventually bowled out for 81, handing Italy a convincing and important win.
