England all-rounder ready to make her mark at T20 World Cup
Dani Gibson is confident of a strong showing for England at the upcoming T20 World Cup.
England all-rounder Dani Gibson is keen to put her recent injury problems behind her and deliver for her country at the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Gibson has been plagued by injuries in recent times, with a persistent back injury keeping the talented 25-year-old out of action for more than 12 months prior to a recent return at the international level during England's ODI series against New Zealand.

There were glimpses of Gibson's talents against the White Ferns, with the all-rounder hitting a run-a-ball innings of 19 in the series opener in Durham and collecting a wicket with each one of her spells across the three-game series.
England will be hoping those efforts are signs of things to come, with head coach Charlotte Edwards having no hesitation in including Gibson in the side's squad of 15 for the upcoming T20 World Cup they will host that commences on June 12.
Gibson is confident her body is back to full fitness and believes a good home summer will follow for England at the T20 World Cup.
“I’ve been out of it for a while, so it’s just nice to be back," Gibson told Sky Sports Cricket recently.
"Everyone seems in a really good place. We’ve had some really good time together over the last week, had some good conversations, some good periods of training together in the winter. I think the teams in a really good space – it should be a good summer.”
A beauty 😍

Gibson is expected to get another chance to show her capabilities when England host the White Ferns in three T20Is starting on Wednesday, while the side also have another trio of T20I fixtures against India at home at the end of this month and prior to the T20 World Cup.
But Gibson isn't looking too far ahead as she plots her path back at the international level.
"I think it was just trying to really take it step by step and celebrate each little milestone, however small it might be, I’m just really happy to be fully fit and just be with the team. It’s going to be an exciting summer,” she said.
"(It was) just great to be back out there and have all the hard work that’s been put in from me, the science and medical team to get me back out there on the pitch as the all-rounder that I want to be."
🗣️ “Go show the world exactly what you can do, we’re all behind you.”
