How to watch Women's T20WC 2026 Captains’ Carnival LIVE
Captains of all 12 teams will be in attendance for a glitzy launch to the tournament.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is set to make a landfall in London with the Captains’ Carnival on Sunday. Skippers of all 12 competing teams will be in attendance at the event ahead of the tournament, which begins on June 12.
Fans from across the world will be able to live stream the event on ICC.tv and ICC’s YouTube channel starting at 12 PM local time on Sunday, June 7.
With its first edition back in 2009, the tournament has grown leaps and bounds over the last 17 years. The show-stopping Captains’ Carnival, which will take in some of London’s most iconic backdrops, is a perfect launchpad for the biggest edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
The number of teams has expanded from 10 to 12, and a number of contenders will pose a strong challenge on the grand stage.
While Australia is the most successful team in the tournament's history, it is New Zealand that will arrive as the defending champions, having defeated South Africa by 32 runs in the 2024 finals.
India will be looking to replicate their ODI success in the shortest format of the game. The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, won a women’s global event for the first time when they emerged triumphant at the ODI World Cup at home in 2025.
The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be hosted from June 12 to July 5, across seven venues, with the final set to take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
