Campaigns on the line

It's a triple header day in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 that kicks off with New Zealand's clash with Scotland. With West Indies' win over Sri Lanka, this is a must-win match for the defending champions to have any hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals. The same fate is of Sri lanka who meet Ireland looking to keep their hopes alive.

Australia, however, could become the first team to secure a semi-final spot with a win over Pakistan in the final match of the day.

New Zealand pull things back

Wickets of Katherine Fraser and Kathryn Bryce have given the New Zealand bowlers some foothold in the game after the explosive start from Darcey Carter and since have been able to dry up the runs.

Scotland are 67/2 after 11 overs
