Nissan

A Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer, Nissan currently manufacture vehicles in 20 countries and areas around the world, with products and services offered in over 160 countries and areas worldwide.

Nissan and Cricket

Nissan’s global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) is another example of their commitment to international sports. The eight-year deal builds upon Nissan’s dedication to innovation, as is displayed by their support for ground breaking activations in cricket. These include the in-venue Nissan LED car, which reacts to big match day moments alongside the fans, the Nissan Trophy Tour, bringing the event trophy to fans all around the world, and the Nissan Play of the Day, where fans can vote for their favourite moment of the match.

In India, Nissan has demonstrated its dedication to cricket and the growth of the sport through its numerous efforts. Nissan partnered with a charity organization in India to bring children to the ICC World T20 2016 as flag bearers. To engage fans in the spirit of cricket, Nissan introduced the People’s Play of the Month. Fans posted their best cricket moments—whether in the office, at home, or in a parking lot—with #PPOTM on Facebook or Twitter to get a chance to win exclusive Nissan Cricket kits. From time to time, Nissan also presented fans with unexpected surprises (#MomentsThatCount), just as when Nissan brought Irfan Khan to a Mumbai park to surprise joggers with a quick game of cricket.

Nissan’s cricket family is further complimented by global cricket ambassadors, which has included Rohit Sharma (India), Andre Russell (West Indies), Suzie Bates (New Zealand), Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada (both South Africa).
