Hit For Six!

Veteran cricketers reminiscing, cricket's connection with the music world, and the return of the Indian Premier League – last week on social media was pure entertainment.

But we start with clothes. Colin Munro looked quite dapper in some of the traditional Pakistani gifts he received during the Pakistan Super League. Although, erm Colin, we aren’t sure ‘shorts and t-shirt’ is the right attire to pair those with!

Elsewhere, in keeping with the 'Then and Now' trend, Sir Viv Richards and Anil Kumble posted some fond memories.

Over in Johannesburg, the Proteas looked up to the stands during the T20I against Sri Lanka, and saw 'the shape of him'.

Fingers crossed that shape emerges during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 too!

That said, wonder if he saw Alex Hales' infamous 'roar' video. Think that smile will still be there?

Tony Greig has called some unforgettable matches. What would he have made of this?

Meanwhile, in India, there was plenty of colour going around, but not due to the festival of Holi . No, the IPL had returned with a typical bang.

And with it came a chance to emulate skills ...

.... and to take the best from the rest.

Haters beware. Trolls stay away. This is the IPL effect ...

... although it's not all always good.

But most of all, the IPL is that time you sit down and accept that the age to showcase talent is coming down every year!
