The two-match T20I series will be particularly crucial for the men's teams ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman later in October.
The series will be the final matches that Babar Azam and Eoin Morgan's men will play before departing for the tournament. The two sides recently clashed in a three-match T20I series in England, with the hosts prevailing by a 2-1 margin.
