Tillakaratne Dilshan makes an appearance as ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour stops off in Sri Lanka

The trophy is currently undertaking a 21-country, five-continent trip around the globe.

Sri Lanka legend Dilshan, suited and booted, was quick to praise the impact of the tour as he stopped for a chat. The flamboyant batsman last played for Sri Lanka back in 2016, and amassed 330 ODI caps in a glittering international career.

The ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy tour will soon be stopping in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India, before travelling south to New Zealand and Australia. The trophy will then visit various locations in Africa and Europe, before arriving in England and Wales on 19 February, 2019 for a 100-day domestic Trophy Tour.
