The three co-hosts of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 are set to face off in a T20I tri-series in the Namibian capital city of Windhoek.
In what is set to be a landmark T20I tri-series, South Africa and Zimbabwe are set to lock horns with Namibia in an early teaser for next year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The three teams are revving up to host a momentous ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027, marking the return of the tournament to Africa for the first time since 2003.

The three teams will play each other in a T20I tri-series for the first time. The significance of the series increases even more, given the context of them hosting next year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

A momentous ceremony in Johannesburg saw the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 venues and brand announced.
Format
The three African nations will play against each other twice in a league format, beginning 28 August. At the end of the two rounds of matches, the top two sides will be facing off against each other in the summit clash scheduled to be played on 6 September.

Venue
All the matches of the tri-series will be played at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. The venue also hosted the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup earlier this year and is one of the 12 venues that will host the Men's Cricket World Cup 2027.
