Cann leads Bermuda XI to five-wicket win

Lionel Cann's 72-ball 85 helped Bermuda XI overhaul Emirates Cricket Board U19 XI's stiff target of 274 for nine with five wickets to spare at Sharjah on Monday.

Batting first ECB U19 XI posted 274 for nine in its 50 overs on the back of opener Swapnil Patil's 105-ball 97 (6x4, 2x6) and Shaiman Anwar's 91 (88b; 7x4, 2x6). For Bermuda XI, Rodney Trott picked 4-40.

In its reply, Bermuda XI was well served by useful knocks from skipper David Hemp (49: 56b, 7x4, 1x6), Christopher Fogo (35: 42b, 2x4). In the end, Rodney Trott starred again with the bat scoring a 51-ball 38 with one boundary to seal the win for the visitors.
