Online Media Zone enhancements for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019
- Vivian Richards, Steve Waugh, Jacques Kallis and Waqar Younis among list of legends of the game to write columns
- Pre and post-match videos and transcripts to be available on theOnline Media Zone
The International Cricket Council today outlined the content available to the world’s media via the ICC Online Media Zone (OMZ) for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019, which is being held in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July.
The platform will support coverage of the 10-team tournament around the world with news, features, build-up articles, columns, videos and transcripts which will be available to registered members of the media for free editorial use giving credit to the ICC.
Columns from stalwarts like Vivian Richards, Steve Waugh, Jacques Kallis, Mahela Jayawardene and Krishnamachari Srikkanth, among others, who will provide their insight throughout the event.
Other build-up articles, features, media releases and advisories will also be provided during the tournament. The ICC has arranged for video coverage and transcripts of all pre and post-match media conferences while the Resources section of the Online Media Zone has a media kit for journalists planning their event, with a media guide to be added by 25 May.
