Vanuatu School Cricket Finals this Week

The 2011 National Bank of Vanuatu (NBV) School Cricket Championship finals for Under 13's and 15's is underway with finals scheduled for later this week.

Teams participating in the school competition are Pango English, Port Vila International School (PVIS), Vila East School, Wan Smol Bag (WSB), Eratap School and Vila North School.

The winners of the semi finals matches will meet in the grand final of the NBV Cricket School Competition.

The under 15 grand final is scheduled for August 5th while the under 13 will be played on August 10th.

Pango English School and PVIS are the the favorites to win both the under 15 & under 13 category.

It is too early to predict how well the other schools will go, but all are looking at creating surprises in the finals.

Pango English has proven they will be very hard to topple in both categories after displaying tremendous skill all year.
