By Bike

A number of bike racks are available outside the ground for cyclists to lock their bikes to.

There are several Cycle Hire docking stations within five minutes' walk of the ground, located on:

  • Abbey Road

  • St John's Wood Road

  • Wellington Road

  • Lodge Road

  • Lisson Grove

  • Prince Albert Road

By London Underground

During major events at Lord's, St John's Wood station is very busy and a queuing system to enter the station post-match will be in place, so alternative routes should be considered.

Ticketholders are encouraged to use alternative routes via Tube stations such as Baker Street, Warwick Avenue, Marylebone and Edgware Road – all are no more than a 15-minute walk from Lord's.

The following stations are all within walking distance of the Ground:

  • St. John's Wood – Jubilee line (10 mins; often heavily congested)

  • Baker Street – Bakerloo, Circle, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines (18 mins)

  • Warwick Avenue – Bakerloo line (4 mins to Tavern and Allen)

  • Marylebone – Bakerloo line (12 mins)

  • Edgware Road – Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines (20 mins)

  • Paddington – Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines (20 mins)

By Bus

  • Routes 13 and 113 run adjacent to Lord's on Wellington Road (east of the ground). These stop closest to the North and Heyhoe Flint Gates, but are within comfortable walking distance to the Grace Gate.

  • Routes 139 and 189 run adjacent to Lord's on Grove End Road (west of the Ground). These stop closest to the Grace Gate, but are a short walk from the Heyhoe Flint and North Gates.

By National Rail Train

The nearest main line railway station is Marylebone, served by Chiltern Railways, approximately ten minutes' walk from the ground.

  • Marylebone Station is on the Chiltern line

  • It has step-free access

  • Bus 113 connects to it from Lord's (for anyone with mobility issues)

Paddington Station is approximately 20 minutes' walk from the Ground, serving services to West and South-West England and South Wales.

By Car

We encourage all visitors to use public transport if possible.

There are parking restrictions affecting non-residents on the streets surrounding Lord's and on St John's Wood High Street on all major match days. Please ensure you do not park in bays which are for residents' use only.
