The dates and venues for this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) have been confirmed.
The tournament is set to begin on 19 September and carry on through to 10 November, with the entirety of the competition scheduled to be held in the UAE across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. This will not be the first time that IPL games will have been held in the UAE; the first 20 games of the 2014 IPL season were also held there.
Confirmed: This year's IPL will take place in the UAE from 19 September-10 November.

It was also announced that for the second year in a row, the Women's T20 Challenge will be held in conjunction with the play-off stages of the men's competition. The women's tournament will feature three teams and see four matches held in total, the same format as the 2019 tournament.
The Mumbai Indians are the reigning champions of the men's IPL, having beaten the Chennai Super Kings by one run in last year's final. The 2019 Women's T20 Challenge was won by the Supernovas, the side captained by Harmanpreet Kaur. Harmanpreet was the Player of the Match in the tournament's final, scoring a half-century as her side sealed a victory off the last ball.
