Hit For Six!

A Player of the Match-winning performance in the first ODI against West Indies has helped Lizelle Lee climb to the summit of the MRF Tyres ICC Women's ODI Rankings for batters.

Lee struck a magnificent unbeaten 91 in the first ODI of the five-match series against West Indies, helping South Africa chase down a 154 with relative ease. With a rating of 762, she is now level with India's Mithali Raj at the top of the rankings.

Lee's teammate Ayabonga Khaka moved up a spot to No.7 in the ODI Rankings for bowlers after a fine display in the first two ODIs. Picking up four wickets going at just two runs per over, Khaka played an important role in wrapping up the West Indies tail in both matches.

In the all-rounder's rankings, Dane van Niekerk climbed one place to seventh thanks to her bowling exploits. Though the South African skipper didn't get a chance to bat in the first two ODIs, she scalped four wickets at a brilliant economy of 1.85 to restrict West Indies to meagre totals in both games.

For West Indies, below-par performances have seen Stafanie Taylor drop two spots in the batters' rankings and one spot in the all-rounders' rankings.

In the T20I rankings, England's Sarah Glenn moved to the second spot among bowlers after the hosts wrapped up the series against New Zealand 2-1. New Zealand's Leigh Kasperek, who was the top wicket-taker of the series with six scalps in three games, went up seven places to 15th.

The ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers also caused some movement in the T20I rankings. Two scores of 40+ in Zimbabwe's first three games saw Modester Mupachikwa make huge gains in the rankings for batters, moving up from No.30 to the 20th spot.

Skipper Mary-Anne Musonda too made massive strides after her unbeaten half-century against Tanzania, scaling 14 spots to move to 52nd among batters.
