Winning the toss, Bahrain chose to bat and posted just 104 runs. Lower middle-order batsman Mirza Baig top scored with 36 with little support from anyone else. Saheed Akolade of Nigeria was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up six wickets for 27 runs in his eight overs. Nigeria completed an eight-wicket win with the help of openers Segun Olayinka and Endurance Ofem, who scored 50 and 30 respectively.
Elsewhere, Jersey beat Argentina by eight wickets after winning the toss and electing to field. Argentina posted 176 runs with Martin Siri hitting 76 off 113 balls. Cornelis Bodenstein of Jersey picked up three wickets for 21 runs in his nine overs. Jersey chased down the total in 29.1 overs. Peter Gough scored an unbeaten 69 while Ben Stevens chipped in with 67 runs.
The third game was yet another short one as the Kuwait innings folded for a mere 107 runs after they were sent in to bat by Vanuatu. Irfan Bhatti scored 31 runs but the rest of the batsmen failed to impress. Nalin Nipiko returned figures of 4 for 30.Vanuatu finished the game in 26.3 overs with Andrew Mansale top scoring with an unbeaten 39.
