Tributes poured in from all corners as Isobel Joyce, Cecelia Joyce, Clare Shillington and Ciara Metcalfe hung up their boots following the conclusion of Ireland's ICC Women's World T20 2018 campaign.
Cricketers past and present joined in sending off the four greats of Irish women's cricket after they announced their retirement following the loss to New Zealand.

The emotional outpouring wasn't restricted to the Irish public, with cricketers from other countries tweeting out their messages.
